Poem: A Mom's Dilemma or Mom's Date

A Mom's Dilemma, 2011

Sometimes I have a decision to make,
And I need to think through what I need to bake.
Spend $10 while I'm here at the store,
Or wait 'til next weeks sale and buy more.

Waiting is clearly the better way,
But I'm here, now, and there's no line to pay.
But next week I can add frozen peas and deli ham,
So considering how hungry I am...

I'll go home instead and have some coffee and I'll just wait,
For the sale paper and our little date.
