First speakers confirmed

The first speakers for Skift Meetings Forum 2026 are confirmed.

Dan Macsai is Chief Strategy Officer at TIME. He scaled TIME's events business from 3 events to 31 globally, including the TIME100 Gala, TIME100 Summit, and TIME100 Impact Dinners at Davos. He's joining us to talk about how event leaders become business leaders.

Sarah Gannon (Mathworks) joins the lineup with one of the deepest credential stacks in the corporate planning world (MTA, CMP, PMED, DES, HMCC).

Kyle Jordan (INFORMS), CMP Fellow, joins to bring the association perspective on a year defined by visa friction, travel costs, and shifting US policy.

More names confirmed in the coming weeks across all three acts.

WHAT'S ON THE AGENDA

Act 1: Geopolitical Tensions.

Where events get placed, who can attend, and what contracts need to protect: all of it is shifting. This block maps what that means for programs running in 2026 and beyond, anchored in fresh data from Skift Research.

Act 2: Resilience.

Budgets are tighter. Timelines are shorter. The pressure on every decision is higher. Senior planners and industry operators share how they're finding room to move, and where they've stopped trying.

Act 3: AI and Innovation.

The experimentation phase is over. This section gets into what's actually been built, what got scrapped, and how the planners ahead of the curve are thinking about the next 12 months.

Who's in the room

Skift Meetings Forum is a one-day, application-only gathering for 400 senior planners.

Senior planners from Apple, Salesforce, JPMorgan, PepsiCo, Mondelez, IEEE Communications Society, Rotary International, American Physical Society, BCD Meetings & Events, FCM Meetings & Events, and 360 Live Media have already secured seats for September 22. 77% director-level or above.
