Whether you love the look or not, they've become great conversation starters.   At this year's IMEX America, sneakers were everywhere. Brand logos, bold designs, and even professional flair were all on display, turning footwear into a focal point of the event.   Attendees used their sneakers to embrace comfort while showing off personal style, making each step a statement.   The surprise hit of the event was a spontaneous sneaker showdown that featured everyone from a Google exec rocking platform Converses to an AV expert subtly flaunting signed Gary Vee sneakers.   Creativity and personality buzzed across the show floor, all expressed through sneakers. Even a hotel GM weighed in on the challenges of setting staff sneaker guidelines.   One attendee sparked a thought-provoking idea: Could sneaker drops — those limited-edition, highly anticipated releases — offer a fresh approach for event marketers?
