They report feeling overlooked for opportunities in favor of younger colleagues.   This trend affects an entire industry, which risks losing valuable insights and leadership from seasoned professionals. The wisdom and expertise accumulated over years of experience are invaluable and almost impossible to impart or transfer.   Addressing ageism and promoting a more inclusive environment is essential for leveraging the diverse skills and perspectives that senior planners bring to the table.   We all have a role to play in acknowledging and combatting ageism biases, ensuring that individuals of all ages feel appreciated and respected in their positions.   If you've experienced ageism in the meetings industry or have taken steps to counteract ageism biases, we want to hear from you.
